Game development became a bigger interest for me in 2013. I realized I could start creating assets for actual games rather than just designing concepts. I wasn’t entirely sure how to approach this since it was all so new to me, but I began exploring it that year. The idea of going to school for game development started to cross my mind.
I applied to a school called The Game Assembly, but I didn’t get in — I completely messed up the interview. I felt like such a failure and didn’t reapply for another year.
