I entered my anime phase in 2006 and created a lot of gifts for other artists on various art sites. Some of these make me cringe like crazy!

Many of these works are what you might call “profile IDs,” which were images or videos displayed on artist pages. They usually weren’t very animated, and I made a TON of them.

The lock characters are related to something called “Lock Legion,” which was a Flash community I was part of. Each community member had a character or object with a lock for a face. I created a lot of Lock Legion Flash animations, and it helped lay the foundation for my animation skills. I particularly enjoyed Lock Legion because of the social aspect. We sort of lived through these characters and included our lock-friends in our animations.
